Visiting Nayong Pilipino @ Clark, Pampanga

Destination unknown, we end up @ Clark, Pampanga. While driving around with no definite destination I remembered the first time we visited Clark, on our way to Duty Free shops  I saw a signboard Nayong Filipino .  Got curious, we decided to check it. I am not good with directions we got lost first but we found it anyway.

My children are all homeschooled so I know this trip is very educational for them.  However my eldest, he is now 14 he is not really excited about it. But my girls were so excited.

Entrance fee is affordable children P100, adult 150. I thought my 14 year old son will be charged P150, he is taller than his age but when they asked his age the rate still for children. So it’s not about the height. Thumbs up the restroom is clean. We did not try the other restrooms though, but the one closest to the ticket booth is clean.    

Inside Nayong Filipino we got to see Orchidarium, Lagoon, Cottages, Ifugao Village, Heroes Plaza and a lot more. What I liked most is the short cultural show. It lasted for almost an hour.  The cultural show schedules are  9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 2:00PM Tuesday to Saturday, 11:00am and 2:00 pm every Sunday. I think it is close on Mondays.  I liked the cultural show wherein they presented Philippine dances. And there was a Rondalla performance too.  I get to watch those dances only at schools. Since my children are not going to a regular school it’s been a long time since I’ve seen one. For my children it was their first time. They don’t like folk dances but at least they have an idea about it. It will be easier for them to understand the Philippine dances.

My review......

I love Korean dramas. And this is the most recent drama that I watched. I was not expecting I will love this drama because the first time I watched So Ji-sub on The Master's Sun some of the scenes I did not feel any romantic excitement towards his acting. It's not that I don't like him. He is a good actor and very good looking. And I also like The Master's Sun drama.I got curious with Oh my Venus because of Shin Min-a. I enjoyed watching her on Arang and the Magistrate. She is a very versatile actress. Her acting is so natural. You will not be bored watching her act.

Going back to Oh my Venus...It is a lovestory/comedy. About being dump and moving on to face the reality. It also shows in the story that when you are determined to achieve something with right motivation you will achieve it. Struggles of women who used to be very slim and they became very chubby. The story is very light that you will be relax after watching every episodes. And this time I enjoyed watching So Ji-Sub!!! He is full of life here. He laugh a lot. He is so handsome in this drama :) :) Their chemistry with Shin Min-a is so great! That you will be in love with their characters. Shin Min-a's acting as expected is so good.


You will not regret adding Oh my Venus on your Korean drama list. It is worth watching!!!.
